Trekking at Gew Mae Pan - Doi Thanon National Park Area Tour

Visit Doi Inthanon Mountain, the Thailand’s highest mountain (2565 meters above sea level), which offers beautiful scenery, evergreen mountain forests, dwarf rhododendron groves, rare bird life, and impressive waterfalls.
Start one the most beautiful and rewarding trekking in the park at Kew Mae Pan: The path leads for three kilometer or more through dense, moist evergreen forest then emerges and follows the top of a steep slope bordering the canyon headwaters of the Mae Pan River. Two hours walk, allows you to experience the natural beauty of the forest.
Then visit the great Twin Royal Pagodas, which were built to commemorate the 60th birthday celebrations of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen respectively. Both contain stylised Buddha images and are decorated with terracotta tiled murals.
Lunch serve at local restaurant.
Continue to Doi Inthanon Royal Project, one of the many royal-sponsored projects to familiarize hill tribe people with new agricultural techniques. View the flower nurseries and cultivation areas. Then visit Vachirathan Waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls in Northern Thailand to take pictures. Then transfer back to hotel.
