Mae Sa Elephant at work, Orchid Farm, Long Neck Karen Village Tour

Visit the magnificent Maesa Elephant Camp; home to one of the largest assembly of elephants in the north of Thailand, with acknowledgement by the Guinness World Records and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not.

Enjoy Demonstrations of how trained elephants are used as working animals in teak forests. The show includes elephant bathing in the river, working in the jungle, elephant painting, dragging and pushing logs, and responding to commands. This is your chance to experience an elephant ride around the camp (supplement will be paid on the spot).

Continue to visit Long Neck Karen Tribe Village or Padong at “Baan Tung Luang Eco-Agriculture Tourism Village” in Maesa Valley. The woman from this tribe wears several brass rings around their long, slender necks and they are originated from Shan state. Also visit Palong Tribe, the smallest group found in Thailand and the woman from this tribe dressed in colorful costumes. They are originated from Union of Myanmar.

Visit the Orchid Nursery to see a large collection of more than 50 different types of colorful exotic year-round-bloom orchids. Then transfer back to the hotel.
